Anyway, here are some of the FOs which I haven’t previously posted about. They are on Ravelry with more photos (my user name is skendras).
Pattern: Swallowtail Shawl (interweave knits)
Yarn: Posh Yarn Eva – Orchid (I think)
Needles: 3.5 mm
This was made for my Monkey’s Grandmother. I added tiny purple beads to the points of the edging.
Pattern: Kerchief Bib
Yarn: Rowan Denim
Needles: 4mm
Made for my little monkey, to soak up the rivers of drool he produces when he is teething. Just made a few mods to allow for the thicker yarn and the fact that the denim shrinks. Plus I added a felt heart for some extra cuteness.
Pattern: My own Bobbley bobble hat
Yarn: Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran and some left over Rowanspun Aran from my Juno
Needles: 4mm
This was made for my baby monkey, it looks totally ridiculous :-) He gets so many nice comments when he is wearing this hat!
Pattern: Just made it up as I went along
Yarn: Sirdar Baby Bamboo
Needles: 4mm
This was made for my baby Monkey. He loves to fiddle with the various textures. It’s quite a small blanket but I wanted to make it so that he could cuddle up to it.
I’m currently knitting a Cardigan for Merry, Icarus, two lace stole and a baby blanket... hmm did I say I don’t have much spare time!
Now a quick non-knitting update. Alex is almost a year now and is busy crawling and cruising the furniture. He has been through a (long) period when he wasn’t sleeping well at night and I have been feeling like a zombie but for the last 5 nights he has slept through and it’s making such a difference to both of us! I‘ve actually regained enough brain power to finish sentences and not put the milk in the dishwasher.
So that kind of brings me up to date. I wonder whether any one is still out there! I’ll have to go and check out all your blogs to see what you have all been up to.

That hat rocks! And I love your blankie--what yarn is that? So cute and what a great way to interest the little one!
Wow, that's a lot of knitting! I looove that hat with the pom-poms! No wonder he gets so many compliments!
Still here too :o)
Lovely to see what you've been up to and that the knitting is still continuing apace. Beautiful things and Alex is looking very handsome in his knits.
You have been knitting some lovely things, the shawl is beautiful.
what an adorable hat - your son competes with my brother for cuteness! he's gorgeous. (well done :) )
It's so nice to hear about what you've been doing. The shawl is stunning, and Alex is so lucky to have such lovely handknits to keep him warm over the winter.
So glad to hear from you, I got worried at one point. He is so beautiful. It's glad to see you are getting back into the swing of things, I swear it gets better. As a mother of 3 I must tell you that it really does go fast & you forget all these crazy times. Well, now we have blogs to keep us remembering.
--Jack is ten months now & is starting to learn to walk. UGH! He is into everything.
Glad you are back......love that hat!
Lots of people are still here!! That little hat is just adorable; and I think I want one for myself, too. Hmm.. I believe I offered you a slow cooker recipe at one point, then promptly disappeared off the map. Would you still be interested?
P.S. Meant to say: I'm suffering a bad case of Swallowtail Envy at the minute. And you? Are not helping. :)
Hello!
Wonderful to see what you are doing and to see the photos of Alex, he looks well and very happy in his silly hat!
I too haven't done much blogging but not due to babies but a rubbish internet connection. That is now finally sorted so maybe I should make a bit more of an effort too. x
Great to see you back, and hear your news. Alex is gorgeous (obviously) and what lovely knitting too.
Glad to hear you've caught up with a little sleep.
How gorgeous your Monkey is! He's grown!!!
So glad to see your post! We've missed you. Your knitting is gorgeous and your Monkey is adorable in his handknits. I hope you are getting more sleep now.
He's SO CUTE!!! Belated congratulations! I love the swallowtail - did you have fun knitting all those bobbles??
Lovely FOs! Alex is so cute!
Sounds like you're doing a great job (except for the milk in the dishwasher bit; I once put my hair shampoo in the fridge when I was going through the sleep depravation stage)! AND getting lots of knitting done too. Will have a peak at your Ravelry stuff as well :)
He is adorable and it looks like the knitting juices are still flowing...which is great! Great to see you back to posting.
